Voting Question: Does this count as an Eviction?

I live in Hammond, Indiana. I have to leave my apartment because I can no longer afford it. I want to leave instead of getting evicted, because I dont want an eviction on my credit. I know that I will probably have to pay court costs, and legal fees as well as the remainder of the rent I owe and early termination fees, I understand that. I do plan on speaking with the landlord and explain my situation, and I plan on leaving the apartment in good condition. Im not abandoning the apartment.
